war movies promoting war

"You'll pretend you were men instead of babies, and you'll be played in the movies by Frank Sinatra and John Wayne or some of those other glamorous, war-loving, dirty old men. And war will look just wonderful, so we'll have a lot more of them. And they'll be fought by babies like the babies upstairs" (Slaughter-House-Five, p. 14)

I do not agree with Mary O'Hares quote from Slaughter House Five. Most people aren't going to see a war movie and then be like oh we have to go to war. It doesn't have them thinking that war is awesome. Well obviously there's going to be some people out there that believe that, but most will not or do not. Also there are movies out there that are against war. The movies Hotel Rwanda and Schindler's List greatly oppose war. There set in a country with war and thousands or millions of deaths taking place. The main characters in them go out of there way to help the people of that country.
